Freshtopia. Net Director Oscar Grimm passed away this past October 1, 2008 from brain cancer. I never met Oscar personally but I loved his work. He and Tanja Andrews create one of my favorite weekly podcasts Freshtopia.net preaching the raw food gospel, creating some interesting dishes that I wanted to try right then and there and sometimes creating some dishes that I wouldn't try, no way man, never! No how! Not even on a bet!The best part though was that they would admit it when a recipe didn't turn out like they thought. Exhibit A The first green smoothie! Hilarious! It is a funny podcast, the website and the recipes and the crafts can be seen by going to itunes and subscribing, hitting up You Tube or going to the web page.
Oscar achieve in a very short time what should be all of our goals which is to create something that has meaning. Oscar's direction will be missed, long live Freshtopia!
Tanja, we are sad with you but we need you, you have work to do. Get back to work!
