MMMMMMM Gumbo! Louisiana gave us Jazz, Good Food, Beautiful scenery, Mardi Gras, Dale Brown and the 2009 Saints and the world was better for it! And how do you repay them? Faulty Levies, an eroded seaboard, ever worsening hurricanes, Bobby Jindel, the Katrina debacle and now an oil spill that threatens to alter and destroy life literally!
What the Hell?
Drill Baby Drill! This is what we get for listening to the Palinites! Safety! Baby! Safety! It wasn't like we didn't know that a disaster of this magnitude could happen. We knew! We said it! Yes, we did! And many a President resisted the cries for Off-Shore drilling!
Mr. Obama are you gonna do the right thing? Regulation! Real Regulation! Real Safety Checks! A Real moratorium on all Off-Shore drilling until these things are done! There will be folks who will call for your head on it but it's the right thing to do and it needs to be done! Hell, we need Men to stand up and do the right thing!
Hell, America might choke if you do the RIGHT thing but DO it anyway! America's strong and can handle it!
Effin up the Sportsman State like that!

Man, my heart aches over this foolishness. And the level of beauraucratic bullsh*t is ridiculous. I often wonder how people can live with themselves knowing that their actions hurt the lives and livelihood of others. And I'm not even gonna get on to the repercusions of their actions on our environment.
Where are folks hearts and souls? Is power and money really that destructive to a persons conscious?

What a mess! And now scientists are talking about killing the wildlife instead of cleaning them up? What a travesty! This whole thing is turning into an Irwin Allen disaster flick, for real!
I don't think anyone's gonna "man up" to this one. They're finding the nearest rocks to crawl under. (lol) But better safety measures need to be in place as there seems like there wasn't any contingency plan for the unthinkable.
