This weekend, Mrs. Jaycee and I, watched 2012 with John Cusazk! Whoo Whoo! I like John Cuzack! High Fidelity, Say Anything, Better off Dead, 16 Candles, ( He played one of Anthony Michael Hall's Geeky friends)
The Mayan Calender says the world is gonna end in 2012! In truth, the Mayan Calendar does not say the world will end in 2012. It predicts that there will be a major transition of some sort. A shake up! A change! But it does NOT predict the world will end!
But back to the movie! The Sun's radiation is heating up the Magma of the earth! Floods, Earthquakes and Fire comes down from the sky! FIRE!
Sorry I digress!
John Cuzack plays a published, but struggling writer. (Sounds familiar) Who works as a Limo driver and just so happens, to stumble onto the evacuation plan for the Human Race!
Cool! Did you notice that there were NO HUE-MAN peoples mentioned among the Heads of States? The US President, played by Danny Glover, concurs with the other G8 Heads of State! The US, Great Britain, Italy! Oh, yeah, Italy is such a large country! But you never hear any Afrikan Heads of State vote at all!
Whole Continent! Nothing! But I not mad!
Spoiler alert! Of course, Afrikan has a starring role at the END of the movie! Well at least we making progress! The Black Dude is President in the movie! Not the First to Be killed!
The Black Dude is the Smartest Dude in the Movie! Not just comedy relief! And it gives me hope that even a struggling but published writer, who drives a limo can save the world!

I do want to see this movie...Not saying their predeictions are correct but to me I think it may be some truth to it...Not saying something will happen this day as mentioned...but in Revelations it predicts a major occurance and then 100 years of hell on earth...Mmmmnnn Most of what Revelatiosn is predicting is happening now, wars, disasters. Look at Haiti and sunami's I know I spelled that all wrong lol...But I am just glad that my faith is strong...

Remember while Revelations does give us the signs of the end times it also states that no man knows the day or hour except the Father! The signs state the return of Jesus is at hand. Have Faith and remember it's just a movie! 8-)
I really loved the movie and was so missed they didnt win a grammy...
It was so real, I got scared..
I get your point though, But, Hopefully, we're getting there..
As for writing, well, we all hope and pray we get better... keep having fun with them movies..
Never noticed that Blacks were really the stars of the movie.
Kinda' like The Matrix where there seemed to be an inordinate amount of Black representation.
