Whenever I feel like Life is about to overwhelm me, I take time to remember my visit to the ocean. As I stood alone at the ocean's edge, I tried to imagine where it began and where it ended! I couldn't! I tried to think on what powered the ocean as wave after wave crashed to shore! I couldn't! It was larger and more powerful than anything I was facing! It was infinite. But still it was just a mere shadow of the awesome power of the Lord! BE Encouraged!
BE Prayerful! BE Mindful! BE Careful!

People have a problem with asking God for something. People tend to forget to thank him for everything. I'm not religious, but when I do pray, and when I do, I thank Him for everything.

Yes! That's it. I do this too. But I don't think about the ocean. I just think about the fact that there is ALWAYS a tommorrow. There is ALWAYS a chance to make things right. There is ALWAYS more. Knowing about the endless supply of tommorrows and the endless amount of possible chances, how can I possibly give up?
Of course all of the above is premised on the fact that you will live to see another day...I know some people prefer to live like tommorrow isn't promised, but I prefer to live like it is. It's much more optimistic. No?
