Waymond Tisdale Passes On!

Waymond Tisdale passed away this morning from cancer. God Bless his family in their time of sorrow.

I loved him as a NBA Player and loved his first Album which I will be listening to tonight. He was one Smoove Jazz Player that didn't gross me out! He will be missed greatly!

I was so sorry to hear about that. I'm mostly sad for his family because I know that they will miss him. However, he is definitely doing better than we are right now. He is with the Father.

Nice blog you have. Great topics.

Jaycee,

I just learned about this (30 minutes ago) and though I did not know this young man personally, I admired him and was encouraged by his life.

There was a genuine wholesomeness about Waymond. He was a tough as nails basketball player and he successfully transitioned from an athletic career to a career in music. His life remains inspirational.

Anyone familar with the name Waymond Tisdale must acknowledge they are better because of what his life demonstrated.

I knew Waymond. When he was in the NBA he came to Charlotte, NC to play the Hornets and met my brother, who was in a band at that time. They formed a relationship and he would jam with them when he was in town. My brother wrote a song for him. He was a big guy with a big heart. What I remember the most is that he would always be on the phone with his wife and children. He had that big smile that you could not forget and a laugh that was infectious. He was so down to earth. We will all miss Waymond Tisdale! What a guy!!! Juanita

I enjoyed Waymond as an athlete and loved him as a musician. I own most his cd's and was fortunate to see him perform a couple of times. He created his own style. Nobody could play like him. What a guy!

The world is a better place having known this dynamic man for 44 short years. It is our loss indeed what a charming, talented artist!
God Speed Waymond!

I've never heard of this guy but nevertheless my heart goes out to his family. This cancer is really getting out of hand. You probably remember my father passed not too long after being diagnosed with Stomach Cancer something in me believes it's a direct result from all this damn processed food we are putting in our bodies. Man that's a shame! Well I will be adding this guy to my playlist.

Go.
