God has not created us with a spirit of fear but of power to overcome in Christ Jesus.

You are made just as God (IAM) wants you to be. Enjoy your life and bring happiness to everyone.

You know I'm a poet, too, and I love to read other poets' work. Very, very cool, I must say.

Self-hatred? People that hate deflect their hate for themselves onto other people so that they can feel better. They need enlightment.

Loving the haiku, brotha! Thanks for the blog comments, and you're right; seeing black people all over the world is definitely a beautiful thing.

Self hate leads to low self esteem which in turn makes you sour as you feel the whole world is against you...

I'm such a fan of the underused art of Haiku.

I really enjoyed this and I absolutely agree with what you're saying. However, it can be quite frustrating when one actually has mirror trump reason when they are aware that reflection is distorted, especially during times of brewing fear.

Hey Afrobabe!
Good to see ya!
No, that's Sista Jaycee that you thinking of. She uses a different icon and she doesn't post nearly enough. I dig her blog though and I follow it. She has excellent taste in spelling.
