Spiritual Food For Thought!

'What is the most important thing for servants?

Which thing is most important and most acceptable in the Divine Presence?

Which thing is also most precious to the Lord of the Heavens, and even most precious among the children of Adam?

That is a very important thing we must know and we must try to obtain. If you do every action that you do with love, that is acceptable in the Divine Presence.

Therefore, those actions which you do with love are tasteful to that worker or worshipper, and also to his Lord. If you love your work, it is easy for you to work.

If you don't like it, it is a burden on you.

Almighty God invites His servants to worship with love.

'Otherwise', He says, 'I am not in need of your worship.

I am only looking amidst your worshipping or amidst your actions, whether they are coming with love.'

Oh believers, you must give so much attention to this point.'

This is my problem.
I'll do many good works out of habit, instinct maybe. But I have little or no emotional attachment to the people.
For this, I may just be condemned.

UBJ,
John, you are the people. You connect with somebody. Maybe you think of it as an esoteric thing but it ain't! It's real flesh and blood.

Jesus promised that if we confess with our mouths his name before men, then he would speak for us before the Father. I say that to say that if you trust and have faith in God then there will be no condemnation. It ain't by our own righteousness that we win anyway. Dig?

@ Jaycee - Yes, I dig.
But I try to do what's right because it seems right.
People assume that I care about or even like them because I help them. In most cases, I'm indifferent.
I know that I can't make up for my past. But I know how Paul could have so much patience. If he could be forgiven for his past, anyone could.
I DO connect with my close friends at home, but they have no need for anything other than friendship. They ask why I stay here (instead of moving back to Cali.and living "The Good Life"). I tell them because this place sucks. But because it sucks, there is a greater need.
Maybe I'd just like to see better results. A little progress.
Everyday, someone I know (here) needs something from me, when ever they see me. But these same people tell me how dumb I am for doing for others at no cost.
Maybe it's just frustration speaking.
